Conversion to Letter Grades
In areas within international systems, like universities with exchange programs, often Chinese grades are converted to an American A to F letter grade. This is how such conversions usually match up:
An A score is ninety or above, which is Exemplary performance.
A grade of 80 to 89 is a B, and generally that is considered good.
C: A C grade varies between 70 and 79.
D: 60-69 passing
An F is anything less than 60, signifying failure.
Educational Level differences

Fail (Bujige, 不及格): Anything less than 60
